At Books & Beans, we carefully pack every order to ensure your books arrive safely and in excellent condition.
Shipping Destinations
We currently ship throughout the Netherlands and to selected European countries.
If your country isn't available during checkout, please contact us and we'll see if we can arrange shipping for you.
Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been received.
Pre-orders and special-order titles may have longer processing times. Any estimated delivery dates shown on product pages are indicative and may change depending on publisher availability.
Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times after dispatch are:
Netherlands: 1–2 business days
Belgium: 2–4 business days
Germany: 2–5 business days
Other EU countries: 3–10 business days
Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by postal services, customs, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on the destination and the weight of your order.
Any applicable free shipping thresholds will be displayed during checkout.
Packaging
We take great care in packaging every order using sturdy materials to help protect your books during transport.
Where possible, we aim to use environmentally responsible packaging materials.
Tracking
When available, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information once your order has been dispatched.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Please include:
Your order number
A description of the issue
Photos of the damaged packaging and/or item
We'll work with you to find an appropriate solution as quickly as possible.
Lost Shipments
If your parcel appears to be lost in transit, please contact us.
We'll investigate the shipment with the carrier and keep you informed throughout the process.
Special Orders
Books ordered specifically at a customer's request may have different delivery times depending on supplier availability.
We'll always do our best to provide accurate estimates and keep you updated if delays occur.
