Books & Beans is an independent English bookstore and café based in Tilburg, the Netherlands.

2. Products

We make every effort to display products, descriptions, prices and availability as accurately as possible.

As many books are sourced from publishers and distributors, cover artwork, publication dates and specifications may occasionally differ from those shown on our website.

All products are subject to availability.

3. Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are shown in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable.

Shipping costs are calculated separately during checkout unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time, although changes will never affect orders that have already been confirmed.

4. Orders

Once your order has been placed, you'll receive an order confirmation by email.

A contract is formed once your order has been accepted and payment has been successfully processed.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in exceptional circumstances, including pricing errors, suspected fraud or supplier availability issues. If payment has already been made, you will receive a full refund.

5. Special Orders & Pre-orders

Many books can be ordered especially for customers.

Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith but cannot be guaranteed, as they depend on publishers and distributors.

If significant delays occur, we'll keep you informed.

6. Shipping

Shipping information, processing times and delivery estimates are described in our Shipping Information page.

While we work hard to dispatch orders promptly, delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

7. Returns

Consumers purchasing online within the European Union generally have the right to cancel their purchase within 14 days, subject to the applicable legal conditions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including text, photography, branding, graphics and logos—is the property of Books & Beans unless otherwise stated and may not be copied or reproduced without prior written permission.

To the extent permitted by law, Books & Beans shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of this website or products purchased through it.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Any disputes shall be handled by the competent Dutch courts unless mandatory consumer protection legislation provides otherwise.
